Configure Leaf Decay Speed

Accessing Configuration

The mod includes adjustable settings to control how quickly leaves decay after a trunk is broken. Configuration files are typically found in your mod's config folder.

Common Settings

1. Decay speed/delay — Controls how many ticks pass before leaves vanish. Lower values = faster decay, higher values = slower decay

2. Enable/disable decay — Toggle the mod on or off without uninstalling it

3. Leaf type filtering — Some versions may allow you to exclude specific tree types from accelerated decay

How to Adjust

1. Exit your world completely

2. Locate the mod's config file (usually a .json or .cfg file in your config folder)

3. Open with a text editor and find decay-related settings

4. Change values to your preference

5. Save and reload your world to test changes

Default Behavior

If you don't configure anything, the mod uses default settings that decay leaves very quickly—usually within a few seconds of breaking the trunk.
