Set Up a Custom Teleport Region

Creating a New Region

LeafRTP organizes teleport destinations into regions. By default, a region is generated on first launch, but you can create additional regions to control where players can teleport.

Open the in-game menu (check your mod keybinds for the default hotkey) and navigate to the regions section. Select the option to add a new region. You'll define the boundaries by specifying corner coordinates—typically the minimum and maximum X and Z coordinates that form a rectangle on your map.

Configuring Region Settings

Once created, you can adjust safety parameters for that region:

  • Biome restrictions: Limit teleports to specific biomes if desired
  • Y-level range: Set minimum and maximum heights for landing spots
  • Avoid protected zones: Exclude claim areas or important structures

After configuration, the mod will begin pre-scanning the region on background threads to identify safe landing spots. This happens automatically—no manual chunk loading required. Players can now use /rtp or the teleport command to land within this region's boundaries.
