Make Rope Collide with Blocks and Terrain

Enable Block Collision

By default, rope leads pass straight through walls and terrain. To make them interact realistically with your environment:

1. Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible from the main menu or in-game settings)

2. Find the Block Collision option

3. Toggle it to On

Once enabled, rope will now stop and drape over blocks instead of passing through them. This is especially useful when leading animals around trees, through doorways, or across uneven terrain.

Adjusting Physics Strength

If your rope looks too stiff or too loose after enabling collisions, you can fine-tune the effect:

  • Open configuration again
  • Adjust Physics Strength to a higher value for more dramatic draping and swinging
  • Lower values create tighter, less bouncy rope behavior

This combination lets you create realistic scenarios where your lead wraps around obstacles naturally, making animal herding feel more immersive and visually interesting.
