Using LazyDFU Alongside Other Performance Mods Without Conflicts
Why Conflicts Are Unlikely
LazyDFU is extremely small, roughly a dozen lines of code, and it touches only the world-conversion rule system. Because it does not rewrite rendering, chunk loading, or entity logic, it rarely clashes with other performance mods. You can generally keep it installed next to optimization mods that target FPS, memory, or chunk rendering.
Safe Combination Practices
Add LazyDFU one mod at a time when building a pack. Launch the game after each addition and confirm the title screen still appears and a test world loads. If something breaks, remove the most recently added mod first. Keep LazyDFU in the mods folder like any other jar and do not edit its files.
When to Remove It
If you are troubleshooting a crash that happens during startup, temporarily remove LazyDFU to rule it out. Because it only affects startup timing, removing it will not corrupt worlds. If the crash persists without it, the cause is another mod. If the crash disappears, report the issue to the mod's support page with your loader and mod list, but never share personal or download details.
