Finding the Exit and Completing the Map
Recognizing Exit Clues
The final exit is not immediately obvious and requires you to progress through the asylum's story. Pay attention to notes and environmental changes that suggest you're nearing the conclusion.
Progress Indicators:
- Notes become more urgent or conclusive in tone
- New areas open that weren't accessible before
- The atmosphere may shift as you approach the ending
- Certain puzzle solutions lead directly toward exit pathways
Reaching the Ending
To find the exit:
1. Complete all major puzzles and unlock all accessible areas
2. Read the final notes carefully—they often contain directions
3. Look for areas that feel like they lead "out" of the asylum (upper floors, basement exits, or main entrance routes)
4. Some exits may only become available after specific story events trigger
5. If you're lost, systematically revisit all unlocked areas and look for new passages
Surviving the Night
Reaching the exit completes your survival of the asylum. The map's conclusion ties together the story elements you've discovered. Take time to reflect on the notes and events you experienced—they form the complete narrative of what happened at Redwood Asylum.
