Unlike lapis in your inventory, stored lapis cannot be lost by:

• Server restarts
• Dying or losing items
• Closing the game

Viewing Your Reserve

After logging back in, approach any enchanting table and open it. Your stored lapis amount will be exactly as you left it.

Long-Term Storage Strategy

Use enchanting tables as secure lapis banks:

• Deposit excess lapis when you have it
• Build up reserves during peaceful mining sessions
• Draw from your reserve during intensive enchanting projects

Server Considerations

On multiplayer servers, your reserve is tied to your player account and saved server-side. This means your lapis is safe even if the server updates or resets player files—as long as your account data is preserved.
