How to Make Paths and Podzol Blend Smoothly Into Terrain
Why Paths Look Patchy
Dirt paths, podzol, and mycelium each have their own connected-texture handling in Lambda Better Grass. If a path still shows hard edges against grass, it usually means the surrounding blocks are not the type the mod connects, or a resource pack is supplying mismatched textures for one of the block types.
Building Terrain That Blends
1. Lay your path using dirt path blocks and surround it with grass blocks rather than coarse dirt or gravel, since grass-to-path transitions are what the mod smooths.
2. For podzol and mycelium, place them in patches with grass adjacent so the border between the two blends instead of forming a visible seam.
3. Avoid mixing many different ground block types in one small area — each transition is handled separately, and too many types close together can still read as busy.
4. Reload the resource pack after changing packs so the connected textures regenerate.
Nether Blocks
Crimson and warped nylium get the same treatment. When building Nether terrain, place nylium patches next to each other and next to other nylium of the same type to see the seamless merge. If nylium looks tiled, the resource pack is the likely culprit, since the mod relies on pack-provided connected textures for those blocks as well.
