How to Equip and Switch Between CS2 Knives

Finding Your Knives

CS2 knives are melee weapons that integrate with the LrTactical and TACZ mod systems. You'll find them in the creative inventory under the tactical weapons tab, or craft/obtain them through your mod's standard progression.

Equipping a Knife

1. Open your inventory and locate your desired knife (M9 Bayonet, Butterfly Knife, Skeleton Knife, or Karambit)

2. Place it in your hotbar or hold it directly

3. The knife will appear in first-person view when selected

4. Left-click to perform melee attacks

Switching Between Knives

Use your hotbar number keys (1-9) to quickly swap between different knives and firearms. This is useful when you need to switch from ranged to close-quarters combat, or when you want to use a specific knife skin for a particular situation.

Skin Variants

Each knife type has multiple colored skins available (pink, red, purple, silver, etc.). These are cosmetic variations with identical stats—choose whichever matches your playstyle or aesthetic preference. All variants function identically in combat.
