Placing Your Portals

Hold the portal device and aim at a flat surface—a wall, floor, or ceiling works equally well. Use your primary attack button to fire a blue portal onto the first surface. The portal will automatically align itself to the surface orientation.

Now aim at a second flat surface elsewhere in your world and fire an orange portal using your secondary attack button. Both portals must be on solid blocks that won't break.

Testing Your Gateway

Walk, run, or jump toward either portal. As you pass through, you'll exit from the linked portal while keeping your full momentum and direction intact. This means if you sprint and jump into a portal, you'll launch out the other side with that same speed—perfect for crossing large gaps or reaching high platforms.

If you need to reposition your portals, press V to clear them both at once, then place a new pair. Each player maintains their own independent portals, so multiple players can use the mod simultaneously without interfering with each other.
