Make a Rotating Chair Platform with Create

Set Up the Contraption

Start by placing a rotating bearing from Create on a solid block. Attach a wooden platform or slab to the bearing using super glue. This platform will be your seat base.

Add Compatible Furniture

Place a chair or sofa from any supported furniture mod onto the platform. Make sure it's positioned where you want riders to sit. The furniture must be fully supported by the platform—don't let it hang off edges.

Activate and Test

Power the bearing with a redstone signal or mechanical power from a motor. Right-click the chair to sit down. As the bearing rotates, you'll stay seated and rotate with the platform.

Tips

• Use super glue to lock furniture in place so it doesn't shift during rotation
• Test with low rotation speeds first to ensure smooth seating
• Multiple players can sit on different furniture pieces on the same platform
• Mobs will also sit if they pathfind onto compatible chairs
