Enhance Water and Reflection Effects
Locate Water Settings
In the Kinescope shader options, find the water and reflection section. This controls how water surfaces interact with light and how reflective they appear.
Configure Water Appearance
- Water Clarity: Adjust transparency to control how far you can see underwater
- Reflection Strength: Increase to make water mirror the sky and surroundings more vividly; decrease for a more matte surface
- Wave/Ripple Intensity: Some versions allow control over surface detail and movement appearance
Test in Different Environments
Visit oceans, rivers, and rain to see how your settings affect water in various contexts. Bright daylight will show reflections more dramatically than caves or night. Adjust color grading settings if water appears too blue or desaturated for your preference.
Fine-Tune for Performance
If water reflections cause lag, reduce reflection strength or resolution. Kinescope balances cinematic quality with playability, so dial back effects if needed while maintaining the visual style you want.
