Customize Color Grading and Tone
Open Color Grading Menu
Access the shader settings and navigate to the color grading or tone mapping section. Kinescope applies movie-style color adjustments across your entire view.
Adjust Color Channels
- Saturation: Increase for more vibrant, punchy colors; decrease for muted, cinematic tones
- Contrast: Higher contrast deepens shadows and brightens highlights for dramatic effect
- Color Temperature: Warm tones (orange/yellow) suit sunsets and interiors; cool tones (blue) work for caves and night
- Gamma/Midtones: Shift the brightness of mid-range colors without affecting pure blacks or whites
Preview Across Biomes
Walk through different environments—deserts, forests, snowy plains, and the Nether—to see how color grading affects each. Biome-specific lighting will interact differently with your settings.
Save Presets
If your shader supports it, save your favorite color grade as a preset so you can quickly switch between cinematic, vibrant, or natural looks without reconfiguring each slider.
