Find and Collect Villager Lore Books

Where to Look

Villager lore books are scattered throughout structures added by this data pack. Your best chances are:

• Ruined villages and graveyards — search chests and shelves in collapsed buildings
• Trader outposts — check storage areas and trading posts
• Ocean ships — explore cargo holds and captain's quarters
• Underground locations — shroom caves and fossil sites may contain hidden collections

How to Collect Them

Walk through the Overworld biomes naturally to encounter these structures. When you find one, look for chests, barrels, or shelving blocks. Open them and take any books you find—they contain stories written from villager perspectives and add lore depth to your world.

Books don't stack infinitely, so manage your inventory. If you're hunting systematically, mark structure locations on a map so you can return later. Some structures may have multiple books, so explore thoroughly before moving on.

There are over 50 unique books to discover, so expect this to be a long-term collection goal. Each book tells a different story, making exploration rewarding.
