Adjust Cloud Density and Thickness
Access Shader Settings
Open the Shader Options screen by pressing the key bound to shader settings (usually accessed through your mod menu or by pressing a dedicated hotkey). Navigate to the Cloud or Sky section.
Fine-Tune Cloud Appearance
Look for sliders controlling cloud density, thickness, and coverage. Increasing density makes clouds more opaque and prominent, while reducing it creates a lighter, airier sky. Thickness settings affect how volumetric the clouds appear—higher values create deeper, more dramatic 3D formations.
Adjust Coverage Percentage
Many shader options include a cloud coverage slider that determines what percentage of the sky clouds occupy. Lower values create scattered, wispy clouds ideal for clear days. Higher values fill the sky with thick cloud layers.
Preview Changes in Real-Time
Changes typically apply immediately as you adjust sliders. Fly up into the sky or find high ground to see the full effect. Test your settings across different times of day—clouds look different under sunlight versus moonlight.
Save Your Configuration
Once satisfied, confirm and save your shader settings. Your cloud preferences will persist across sessions.
