Press F6 to enter FreeCam mode. You can now fly through terrain without leaving your character behind, making large-scale exploration efficient.

Fly Strategically to Scout

Rise high above the landscape to scan for visual markers:

• Biome colors: Different biomes have distinct grass and foliage colors visible from above.
• Structure silhouettes: Temples, villages, and dungeons create recognizable shapes when viewed from above.
• Terrain features: Mountains, ravines, and water bodies stand out clearly.

Fly in expanding circles or grid patterns from your starting point to cover ground systematically.

Dive Deeper When You Find Something

Once you spot a promising area, fly down through blocks to investigate. Use ClearVision (F7) to see through darkness and fog, revealing cave systems, ore veins, and hidden structures more clearly.

Mark Your Discovery

Note the coordinates or landmarks before exiting FreeCam. Press F6 to return to your character, then navigate there normally to confirm the location and begin harvesting or building.

This method saves enormous time compared to walking or riding across the world searching blindly.
