Inspecting Your Base Design from Above

Activate FreeCam for Aerial View

Press F6 to enter FreeCam mode. You'll detach from your character and can fly freely around your base while remaining invisible to other players.

Position Yourself for Optimal Viewing

Fly upward above your base to get a bird's-eye perspective. This angle reveals:

• Layout symmetry: Check if buildings and paths are aligned as intended.
• Roof details: Inspect decorative patterns, terraforming, and landscaping that are hard to see from ground level.
• Spacing and proportions: Verify that structures are appropriately sized relative to each other.

Check Interior Details

Fly through walls to inspect room layouts, furniture placement, and lighting without breaking blocks. This is especially useful for:

• Factory floor planning
• Room-by-room decoration review
• Identifying cramped or awkward spaces

Use ClearVision for Better Visibility

Press F7 to activate ClearVision alongside FreeCam. This removes darkness and fog, making it easier to see fine details and spot inconsistencies in your design.

When finished, press F6 again to return to normal mode and your character's original position.
