Start with the Crisp Preset

The Crisp preset is designed to sharpen block outlines and make textures pop:

1. Open the Color Filters menu

2. Select the Crisp preset

3. Set your display mode to Whole Screen so sharpening applies everywhere

Boost Sharpness and Definition

To maximize texture clarity:

1. Increase Adaptive Sharpness to enhance block edges and surface details

2. Raise Contrast to make texture variations more pronounced

3. Increase Vibrance to lift muted colors in stone, wood, and ore blocks

4. Adjust Highlight upward to brighten reflective surfaces on polished blocks

5. Fine-tune Gamma to bring out midtone details in darker blocks like deepslate or obsidian

Balance Performance and Visuals

Sharpening is GPU-efficient, but if you notice any performance dip:

1. Reduce Adaptive Sharpness slightly rather than disabling it entirely

2. Keep Contrast adjustments moderate—extreme values can create visual artifacts

3. Toggle the filter on and off to confirm the sharpening is worth any performance cost
