Hide Your Nametag While Displaying Chat Bubbles

Enable Nametag Hiding

Open your mod configuration and locate the nametag visibility option. Enable the setting that hides your player name when a chat bubble is active.

How It Works

When this feature is enabled, your nametag (the floating text showing your username) disappears while you have an active message bubble above your head. Once your message expires and the bubble fades, your nametag reappears. This creates a cleaner visual appearance and reduces text clutter above your character.

Use Cases

This is particularly useful in crowded multiplayer servers where multiple players are talking simultaneously. Hiding nametags during messages reduces visual noise and makes chat bubbles the primary text element, improving readability.

Customize Timing

Some configurations allow you to adjust how long the bubble persists before your nametag returns. Check if your mod version supports this to fine-tune when the transition occurs.
