Troubleshooting: Day Counter Not Showing Above the Hotbar

First Checks

If you don't see the day number above your hotbar, confirm the mod is actually loaded for the world you're in. Mods are often per-profile or per-instance, so a world launched from a different profile won't have it. Also make sure you're looking at the correct spot — the counter renders centered above the hotbar, not in a corner.

Common Causes

  • Conflicting HUD mods: Other mods that reposition or overhaul the hotbar and HUD can overlap or cover the counter. Temporarily disable other HUD-altering mods to see if the number reappears.
  • GUI scale and resolution: At very small GUI scales the text can be hard to spot; try increasing your GUI scale in video settings.
  • Fullscreen vs. windowed: Occasionally HUD elements render differently between modes; test both.
  • Resource packs: Some packs replace HUD textures. Switch to default to rule this out.

If It Still Won't Show

Check that the mod version matches your game version, since a mismatch can silently prevent loading. If the counter appears in one world but not another, the difference is likely the profile or mod list used to open each world. Re-verify your setup for the affected world before assuming the mod is broken.
