How to Change the Zoom Keybind in Just Zoom Mod

If the default zoom key clashes with another mod or your keyboard layout, you can rebind it like any other control.

Rebind Through Minecraft Controls

1. Open the pause menu and go to Options → Controls → Key Binds.

2. Scroll until you find the Just Zoom entry (it appears under its own category or near the miscellaneous keys).

3. Click the current key, then press the key you want to use.

4. If the key is already taken, Minecraft will warn you — pick a different one or clear the conflicting bind.

5. Click Done to save.

Things to Watch For

• The mod's default is usually Z, but on some keyboard layouts the letter that sits where Z is on a US board is used instead, which is why you may see it listed as Y. Rebinding removes the confusion entirely.
• Avoid keys that other mods use for toggles (like minimap or inventory sorting), or you'll trigger both at once.
• If the zoom key does nothing after rebinding, check that no other mod has claimed the same key and that you saved the controls screen.

Once bound, hold the key to zoom and release to return to normal view.
