How to Upgrade to Celestigem Gear and the Celestigem Paxel

Getting Celestigem

Celestigem is the mod's higher-tier material, sitting above Blazegold. You obtain it through the mod's progression — typically by processing Blazegold-tier materials or by working with Time Crystals (see the Budding Time Crystal Block). Once you have Celestigem, you can craft the full Celestigem tool and armor set: Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots, plus Axe, Hoe, Pickaxe, Shovel, Sword, and Bow.

The Paxel

A standout item is the Celestigem Paxel — a combined pickaxe, axe, and shovel in one tool. That means one hotbar slot covers mining, chopping, and digging. Craft it once you have Celestigem and use it as your everyday tool to save inventory space.

Why Upgrade

Celestigem gear outperforms Blazegold in durability and mining capability, and the armor gives better protection. The Bow is a solid ranged option for the tier. If you have been running Blazegold, the jump to Celestigem is the natural next step before you commit to heavy automation. Keep your old Blazegold set as a backup or hand it to a friend — it is still perfectly usable.
