Plan Your Route

Look ahead at the terrain you want to cross. Identify single-block steps, gentle slopes, and flat sections. Jumpy Boats works best on terrain with gradual elevation changes and isolated obstacles.

Jump Over Obstacles

Press your jump key whenever you encounter a one-block bump or step. Your boat will hop over it and land on the next surface. For gentle slopes, you may not need to jump—your boat can roll up naturally.

Maintain Momentum

Keep steering and jumping in rhythm as you move. Don't stop between jumps; continuous forward motion helps your boat clear terrain more reliably.

Avoid Steep Cliffs

This mod is designed for small obstacles and gentle terrain. Steep cliffs, multi-block drops, or very high walls will still stop or damage your boat. Stick to rolling hills and low barriers for the best results.
