Cross Rivers Without Dismounting

Setup Your Boat

Place a boat on the water and enter it. Make sure you have a clear line of sight to the opposite bank.

Jump Across

Press your jump key (default: Space) as you approach the riverbank. Your boat will leap forward, carrying you across the water-to-land transition in one smooth motion. You'll land on solid ground without getting stuck on the shore or needing to walk the rest of the way.

Multiple Hops for Wider Rivers

For wider rivers, press jump multiple times in succession. Each press gives your boat another short hop forward. Continue jumping until you reach the far bank. This is faster than dismounting, walking, and finding a new boat on the other side.

Steering While Jumping

Use your normal boat controls (WASD or arrow keys) while jumping to angle your approach. This lets you aim for specific landing spots and avoid obstacles on the opposite shore.
