Climb Single-Block Terrain Without Breaking Your Boat
Approach the Obstacle
Drive your boat directly toward a one-block-high elevation, wall, or step. Position yourself so the front of the boat faces the obstacle head-on.
Execute the Jump
Press your jump key as you make contact with the block. Your boat will hop up and over the single-block bump, landing on the higher surface without taking damage or breaking apart.
Chain Multiple Climbs
If you're traveling across hilly or uneven terrain with several one-block steps, jump at each obstacle. This keeps you moving continuously without dismounting to walk around each bump.
When Jumps Fail
If your boat doesn't clear the block, you may have approached at an angle or the terrain ahead is too steep. Reposition and try again with a direct approach, or consider dismounting if the slope exceeds one block.
