Understanding Your Jump Reset Timing

Reading the Overlay Display

When you take knockback and attempt a reset jump, the mod displays a number indicating your timing accuracy. A value of 0 means you jumped at the perfect moment. Positive numbers mean you jumped too late, while negative numbers mean you jumped too early.

Using the Feedback to Improve

Watch the overlay after each knockback encounter:

1. Note whether your number is positive or negative

2. If positive (late), try jumping slightly sooner next time

3. If negative (early), delay your jump input slightly

4. Repeat until you consistently see 0 or near-zero values

The overlay helps you develop muscle memory for the exact tick window. Over time, you'll internalize the timing without needing to read the display. Practice in low-stakes situations first—like fighting mobs or sparring with friends—before relying on this skill in competitive PvP.

Remember that reset jumping is about precision, not speed. Each opponent's knockback strength and your current velocity affect the window slightly, so stay focused on the feedback the mod provides.
