Prepare for Rare Boss Encounters

Understanding Boss Spawn Rates

Every curse in this mod has a chance to spawn as a rare, significantly stronger boss variant. These boss versions are visually distinct and pose a major threat, so preparation is key.

Identifying Boss Curses

Boss variants are easy to spot:

• They have a glowing effect around their body
• Their name tag is customized to indicate boss status
• They appear much larger and more intimidating than regular versions

Combat Preparation

Before exploring areas with high curse density:

• Stock up on healing items – Boss curses deal heavy damage
• Wear strong armor – Bosses have five times the health and armor of regular curses, plus an additional 500 HP boost
• Bring powerful cursed techniques – Standard attacks take longer against buffed enemies
• Travel in groups if possible – Boss fights are significantly harder solo
• Know your escape route – Have a safe location nearby in case you need to retreat

If you encounter a boss you're not ready for, you can disable boss spawning temporarily via the F8 menu to practice against regular curses first.
