Navigating Story Checkpoints and Objectives
Reading Chat Messages
The map communicates objectives through in-game chat. Pay close attention to these messages—they tell you where to go next and what you need to accomplish. If you miss a message, check your chat history by pressing the chat key.
Following the Main Path
The story is designed as a linear progression. Stay on marked routes and avoid wandering into unrelated areas, as this can lead to confusion or unexpected difficulty spikes. Look for visual cues like custom structures, NPCs, or terrain changes that signal you're in the right location.
Completing Missions
Each mission has specific requirements. These might include defeating all enemies in an area, reaching a destination, or interacting with story elements. Complete these tasks before moving forward. If you're stuck, re-read the latest chat message for clarification on what remains to be done.
Saving Progress
The map uses checkpoint systems to save your advancement through the story. Reaching new areas typically triggers automatic saves, so you won't lose significant progress if you die.
