Managing Health During Extended Fights
Recognizing When to Retreat
Boss fights are endurance tests. Monitor your health bar constantly—when it drops below half, consider falling back to a safe distance. This gives you breathing room to heal and reassess the situation without taking additional damage.
Healing Methods
Locate healing items in your inventory before entering major fights. Use them strategically rather than all at once. Healing takes time, so only attempt it when you have distance between yourself and enemies. Never heal directly in front of an active boss.
Positioning and Spacing
Maintain distance from enemies whenever possible. Use the terrain to your advantage—hide behind structures, use elevation changes, or create obstacles between yourself and attackers. This gives you more time to react and heal.
Recovery Cycles
Establish a pattern: damage the boss, retreat when hurt, heal, then re-engage. Don't try to win through continuous aggression. Patience and careful resource management will get you through tougher encounters more reliably than raw offense.
