Navigate Using Shared Waypoints with Your Team
Creating Team Waypoints
Waypoints are essential for coordinating movement. When you place a waypoint in JourneyMap, your team can see it if you've enabled waypoint sharing in the mod settings. Create waypoints at key locations—meeting points, resource areas, or objectives—so teammates know where to go.
Access the JourneyMap interface and mark locations as you normally would. The waypoint will automatically broadcast to your team's shared map.
Using Shared Waypoints for Navigation
Check the waypoint list to see markers placed by other team members. Each waypoint displays the player who created it and its coordinates. Use these as navigation targets during group activities—whether gathering resources, traveling to a dungeon, or regrouping after combat.
Color-code waypoints by purpose if your team prefers organization. Discuss with teammates which waypoint colors mean what (red for danger, green for resources, blue for bases) to avoid confusion during gameplay.
Waypoints persist on the shared map, so new team members joining later can still see established markers and understand your team's explored territory and important locations.
