Different Nether biomes present unique challenges when Ghasts tumble and crash. Adjust your approach based on terrain.

Basalt Deltas

The uneven, jagged terrain here means falling Ghasts will crash unpredictably. Stay mobile and watch for the explosion to avoid damage. Loot will still drop safely at your position.

Lava Lakes

When fighting Ghasts over lava, the explosion won't destroy the lava or create new hazards — only visual and sound effects occur. Loot still drops at your original location, even if the Ghast crashes into lava far away.

Warped Forests

Denser vegetation and lower ceilings mean Ghasts fall shorter distances. Explosions are still dramatic but contained. This is a safer zone for collecting loot quickly.

General Tips

Always position yourself on solid ground before engaging Ghasts. Mark or remember your exact location so you can return for drops after the crash animation finishes.
