Collect Loot from Defeated Ghasts Safely

Understand Loot Drop Mechanics

One of the mod's key features is that all drops remain safe even when Ghasts crash explosively. This prevents you from losing rewards to the chaotic tumbling and impact.

How It Works

1. When you defeat a Ghast (with any weapon or damage source), it begins tilting and falling

2. The mob tumbles in a random direction through the air

3. Upon impact with terrain, an explosion occurs

4. All loot and experience orbs drop at the exact spot where you defeated the Ghast — not where it crashed

Collecting Your Rewards

Stay near the Ghast when you defeat it, or mark the location. Walk back to that spot after the crash animation completes to pick up drops. This means you can safely fight Ghasts over lava lakes, chasms, or near your base without worrying about losing anything to the explosion or terrain.
