How to Use the Jeweler's Kit: A Beginner's Walkthrough
What the Kit Does
The Jeweler's Kit is the mod's central crafting station. Every ring, necklace, and amulet recipe runs through it — you cannot make jewelry at a normal crafting table. Think of it as a specialized workbench for gem-and-metal combinations.
Setting Up
1. Craft the Jeweler's Kit using its recipe (check the mod's process section or JEI/REI for exact ingredients).
2. Place it down like any block and right-click to open the interface.
3. Identify the input slots — one for the metal (copper, iron, gold, diamond, or netherite) and one for the gem (Citrine, Jade, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Topaz, etc.).
4. Insert the correct combination and pull the finished jewelry from the output slot.
Common Beginner Mistakes
- Trying to craft jewelry at a crafting table — it won't work; use the kit.
- Mixing a gem with the wrong metal and expecting a specific named amulet — named pieces often have their own recipes.
- Forgetting to bring the kit underground; it's portable and lets you craft during mining trips.
Next Steps
Once you've made a basic Copper Ring or Iron Ring, experiment with gem combinations to discover which effects suit you, then work toward diamond and netherite tiers.
