Troubleshoot Missing or Incorrect Ore Information

Verify the Mod is Active

Open JEI and search for any ore. If you see spawn information in the tooltip (height range, vein count, cluster size), the mod is working. If tooltips are empty or missing, the mod may not be loaded correctly.

Check for Custom Modpack Ores

JEI Ores Mod automatically detects ores from other mods without extra configuration. If a custom ore isn't showing spawn data, it may not be registered as an ore block in the modpack. This is normal behavior.

Confirm Server-Side Installation

If you're on a multiplayer server, the mod must be installed on both your client and the server. If only one side has it, the mod disables itself silently. Ask your server administrator to install it server-side if data seems missing.

Look for Biome-Specific Ores

Some ores only appear in certain biomes. If you can't find an ore despite being at the correct height, check the tooltip for biome restrictions. You may need to travel to a different biome.

Update Your Modpack

If ore data seems outdated or incorrect after a world update, reinstall or update the mod to ensure it reflects current spawn mechanics.
