Understand Drop Rates and Quantities from Treasure Bags

Reading Drop Information in JEI

When viewing a treasure bag's loot table in JEI, the mod displays each item's drop information. Look for:

• Item name and icon: What you can receive
• Quantity notation: Shows minimum and maximum amounts per drop (e.g., "1-3" means you get between 1 and 3 of that item)
• Rarity indicators: Visual cues showing how common or rare each drop is

Interpreting Weighted Drops

Armageddon Treasure Bags use weighted loot systems. Items with higher weights drop more frequently. While JEI may not always display exact percentages, the visual ordering and grouping typically shows rarer items separately from common drops.

Using This Knowledge

Understanding drop rates helps you:

• Estimate how many bags you need to open for a specific item
• Prioritize bags containing high-quantity common drops (like ores or ingots)
• Decide if rare items are worth the farming effort
