How to Drive Tanks Through Different Terrain

Understanding Tank Mobility

Tanks in this mod are designed to traverse rough terrain better than most vehicles. They can climb moderate slopes, cross shallow water, and push through vegetation. However, they're still affected by steep cliffs and deep water—test your tank's limits in safe areas first.

Navigating Forests and Hills

When driving through forests, tanks will crush trees and vegetation as they pass. On hills, approach slopes at an angle rather than head-on for better traction. Avoid extremely steep terrain where the tank may tip or get stuck. If you do get stuck, exit and push the tank, or reload your save.

Water and Obstacles

Tanks can ford shallow water but will sink in deep areas. Plan routes around deep lakes and rivers. Use the tank's weight to your advantage—it can break through weak structures and barriers. On roads and flat ground, tanks reach their best speed and handling. Always scout unfamiliar terrain on foot before committing your tank to a path.
