Search through broken buildings systematically—they contain survival supplies scattered throughout. Keep your hunger and health bars topped up as you explore.

Once you've gathered basic resources, fortify an existing building to serve as your base. This gives you a defensible space to retreat to when zombie hordes approach.

Fight off wandering undead carefully, managing your resources and health. The longer you survive, the more challenging the encounters become. Use your base as a safe zone to recover between expeditions into the ruins.

The open world is yours to explore freely—there are no quest markers or linear paths forcing your hand. Adapt your survival strategy to the threats you encounter.
