Use ItemZoom on Multiplayer Servers
Client-Side Mod Advantage
ItemZoom is a client-side only mod, meaning it works on any server—even those without the mod installed. You don't need server permission or special configuration.
1. Install ItemZoom on your client
2. Join any Minecraft server as normal
3. Use zoom features exactly as you would in single-player
4. Other players won't see your zoom display or be affected by it
No Server Conflicts
Because ItemZoom only modifies your local item preview display, it:
- Doesn't send extra data to the server
- Doesn't interfere with server rules or anti-cheat systems
- Works alongside server-side mods without issues
- Remains active even if the server updates
Practical Use Cases
On multiplayer servers, zoom helps you:
- Identify exact block variants in shared builds
- Match materials when collaborating with other players
- Inspect enchanted items and their details
- Sort your inventory more efficiently during group projects
Simply play normally—your zoom feature is invisible to everyone else.
