How to Change Colors and Match Jewelry Pillows to Your Build
Why Color Matters
Jewelry Pillows come in a full range of dye colors, from White and Black through Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink, Magenta, Lime, Cyan, Brown, Gray, and Light Gray to Light Blue. Because each color is its own block, you can treat them like a palette when decorating. A single-color row looks formal; a gradient looks playful; color-coding lets customers find a category at a glance.
Choosing and Placing Colors
Decide the role each pillow plays before you place it. In a shop, assign one color per product type — for example, one color for rings and another for necklaces — so the layout stays readable as stock changes. In a bedroom or vault, match pillows to the surrounding wool, concrete, or terracotta. Place pillows on stable surfaces at a comfortable height, then right-click each with its item.
Coordinating with Item Displays
- Use neutral pillow colors under bright items so the item stands out.
- Use bold pillow colors to draw the eye to a featured piece.
- Repeat a color every few blocks to create rhythm along a long counter.
- Keep a shulker box of spare pillows in each color so you can recolor a display without a crafting trip.
Recoloring a Display
To change a pillow's color, break it, pick it up, and place the correctly colored pillow in its spot, then re-add the item.
