How to Toggle ItemPhysic Animations On and Off In-Game
Finding the Config
ItemPhysic ships with a config file that controls its animations and physics tweaks. You do not need to uninstall the mod to disable a feature you dislike — you just flip a setting.
1. Locate the config file in your Minecraft instance's config folder. It is named after the mod.
2. Open it with a plain text editor. You will see options grouped by feature — drop animations, item rotation, burning item behavior, and similar toggles.
3. Change a value from true to false (or vice versa) to disable or enable that feature. Save the file.
4. Restart Minecraft. Config changes are read at launch, not mid-game.
In-Game Options
Some builds of ItemPhysic also expose a settings screen through the Mods menu (via the mod list's config button). If your pack includes a config-screen library, you can toggle the same options there without touching files.
What Each Toggle Does
- Drop animations: controls whether items tumble and settle realistically when released.
- Item rotation: controls whether dropped items spin on the ground like vanilla or lie flat.
- Burning items: controls whether items in fire or lava get consumed with an animated effect.
If a specific animation bothers you, disable only that toggle rather than the whole mod.
