How to Make Dropped Items Stack Together Instead of Scattering
Why Items Scatter in Vanilla
In vanilla Minecraft, when you break a chest or kill a mob, every dropped item gets its own random velocity and lands wherever physics decides. With ItemPhysic installed, drops behave differently — they fall, settle, and merge into tidy piles. If you are still seeing messy scatter, something in your setup is overriding the mod's behavior.
Getting Clean Stacks
1. Break a container (chest, barrel, shulker) and watch the items fall. They should land in a compact cluster rather than spraying outward.
2. Walk near the pile. Items of the same type should visually merge into a single stack entity rather than sitting as separate floating cubes.
3. If items still scatter, check your mod list for other drop-animation or physics mods. Two mods touching the same drop logic will fight each other, and the result is usually vanilla-like chaos.
4. Make sure you are running the Full version of ItemPhysic, not Lite. The Lite build trims some of the drop-merging and animation behavior to stay lightweight.
5. Test in a fresh world with only ItemPhysic enabled. If drops stack cleanly there, add your other mods back one at a time to find the conflict.
Once working, mining a wall of ore or emptying a storage room becomes a single scoop instead of a scavenger hunt.
