How to Choose Between the Full and Lite Versions of ItemPhysic
What the Two Versions Do
ItemPhysic comes in two builds. The Full version enables the complete set of realistic animations — tumbling drops, items that settle and merge, animated burning, and richer interaction feedback. The Lite version keeps the core drop-stacking behavior but strips heavier animations, which matters on low-end machines or large modpacks.
Picking the Right One
1. Ask what you actually want. If you only care about drops stacking neatly instead of scattering, Lite is enough.
2. If you want the full visual package — items rolling, spinning, and burning with animation — use Full.
3. Consider your hardware. Full runs more per-tick animation logic, so on a weak CPU or with hundreds of mods, Lite will hold your framerate better.
4. Consider your pack. In a big kitchen-sink pack, Lite reduces the chance of tick-related lag spikes when many items drop at once (mob farms, TNT mining, storage cleanouts).
5. Never install both. They occupy the same mod ID and will crash or behave unpredictably.
Switching Later
You can swap versions between worlds. Remove one jar, drop in the other, and relaunch. Existing dropped items may behave oddly for a moment as the new physics takes over, but no world data is lost.
