Navigate Dungeons More Precisely with Ground Markers
Plan Your Route Before Moving
In dungeon environments, use the marker system to preview your path. Click waypoints along your intended route to see exactly where you'll walk. This helps you avoid traps, mobs, and dead ends by visualizing movement before committing.
Mark Dangerous Passages
When approaching narrow corridors or trap-filled areas, click slowly and deliberately. Each marker confirms your position and direction, reducing the chance of walking into hazards. The direction arrow is especially useful for confirming you're moving the right way through tight spaces.
Use Beams for Vertical Navigation
Enable the optional light beam effect when navigating multi-level dungeons. The vertical indicator helps you track which floor you're on and confirms your position when moving between levels.
Create Visual Breadcrumbs
As you explore, your markers create a visual trail of where you've been. This helps you retrace your steps if you need to backtrack or find an alternate route. The fading markers show your recent movement history.
Coordinate with Teammates
On multiplayer servers, your markers are client-side only, but they help you communicate your intended path to other players. Describe your route using the visible markers as reference points.
