Climbing to the Highest Points for Island Views
Identify the Tallest Peaks
The Isle of Berk features several mountain peaks scattered across the island. The highest points are typically at the edges of the map and near the giant carved statues. Look for rocky outcrops that rise noticeably above the village structures.
Plan Your Climbing Route
Don't attempt to climb straight up—instead, follow the natural terrain features and existing paths that wind around the mountains. Start from the village and gradually work your way upward using switchback paths and natural ledges. Take breaks at intermediate plateaus to catch your bearings.
Reach the Summit
Once you reach a peak, you'll have a panoramic view of the entire island. From here, you can see the layout of the village below, the docks along the coast, and the positions of other mountains. This vantage point is perfect for planning base locations or understanding the map's geography.
Mark Your Path
Place torches or build small markers along your climbing route so you can descend safely and return to this viewpoint later. The journey up is often easier than finding your way down in low light.
