Verify Mod Compatibility with Your Installed Mods

Check Built-in Mod Support

Iron's Simple Blood Mod includes native support for The Aether, BetterEnd, and BetterNether. Mobs from these mods will display blood effects automatically without additional setup.

Test with Other Mods

The mod works out of the box with vanilla creatures and many popular monster mods. To verify compatibility:

1. Spawn or encounter a mob from your installed mods

2. Deal damage to it

3. Observe whether blood particles and decals appear

If blood effects display correctly, the mod is compatible. If nothing happens, the mob's entity may not be recognized.

Add Custom Support

For unsupported mobs, you can manually add blood type definitions in the JSON configuration files. Reference the mob's entity ID and assign it a blood color or type.

Report Issues

If a popular mod's creatures don't display blood effects and you've confirmed the entity ID is correct, the mod may need an update. Check community forums or mod documentation for known compatibility issues or workarounds.
