Adjust Train Spacing and Behavior

Access Configuration Settings

Open the Ironbound Linkage Mod configuration menu. This is where you control how your trains behave.

Modify Cart Spacing

Locate the cartSpacing setting. This value controls the distance maintained between linked minecarts on the rail. Increase this number to spread carts further apart, or decrease it to pack them closer together. Experiment with different values to find spacing that works for your rail design and aesthetic preferences.

Control Braking Behavior

Find the brakingAfterTrainSeparation option. When enabled, minecarts will stop moving immediately after being disconnected from a train. When disabled, separated carts will continue moving with their current momentum.

Customize Particle Effects

The configuration menu includes particle settings for your trains. You can select different particle types to display along the chain links, adjust particle intensity, and customize the visual appearance of your moving trains. These changes are purely visual and don't affect train physics.
