Create a Spotlight with a Custom Projected Image
Set Up Your Spotlight
Open the Light Editor and create a new spotlight. Position it where you want the projection to appear—typically elevated and angled toward a wall or floor. Adjust the beam angle to control how wide the projected image spreads.
Load and Project Your Image
In the spotlight's settings, locate the projector or texture option. Select a black-and-white image file from your computer. The mod will project this pattern onto surfaces in front of the spotlight. Light areas of your image will appear bright, while dark areas remain dim.
Fine-Tune the Projection
Rotate the spotlight to align the projected image correctly. Use the brightness slider to make the projection more or less visible. Adjust the beam angle and distance to scale the projection larger or smaller on your target surface. If the image appears distorted, reposition the spotlight to face the surface more directly.
Tips
Projections work best on flat surfaces. Use high-contrast images for clearer results. Combine multiple spotlights with different images to create complex patterns or layered effects.
