Set Up Quick Sort Hotkeys for Your Inventory

Bind Classic Inventory Tweaks Shortcuts

InvTweaks Emu restores the familiar keyboard shortcuts from the original Inventory Tweaks mod. These hotkeys let you sort your inventory and containers without opening menus.

1. Open your controls settings in Minecraft

2. Search for keybinds related to Inventory Profiles Next or InvTweaks Emu

3. Assign keys to the sorting actions you use most (for example, a key to sort your current container, or to move items between inventory and chest)

4. Test the hotkeys while standing near a chest or with your inventory open

Common Sorting Tasks

Once bound, your hotkeys will trigger Inventory Profiles Next's sorting system in the background. Use them to:

• Quickly organize a full chest without manually dragging items
• Sort your inventory while looting
• Move stacks between your inventory and nearby containers

The mod remembers your keybinds across sessions, so you only need to configure them once. If a hotkey doesn't work, ensure Inventory Profiles Next is also installed and enabled—InvTweaks Emu depends on it to actually perform the sorting.
