Configure Which Items Sort Into Which Containers

Customize Sorting Rules

InvTweaks Emu delegates sorting logic to Inventory Profiles Next. To control where items go, you'll configure rules in the main mod.

1. Open Inventory Profiles Next settings (usually accessible from your mod menu or in-game)

2. Look for sorting profiles or item rules

3. Define categories (tools, blocks, food, etc.) and assign them to specific containers or inventory slots

4. Save your profile

5. Return to InvTweaks Emu and use your hotkeys—items will now sort according to your rules

Testing Your Setup

After configuring rules:

• Open a chest and trigger a sort hotkey
• Watch items move into organized groups
• Adjust rules if items aren't going where you expect

Since InvTweaks Emu is a control layer, all the actual sorting happens in Inventory Profiles Next. If sorting isn't working as expected, check the main mod's configuration rather than InvTweaks Emu settings.
