Set Custom Stack Limits for Specific Items

Access the Configuration File

Locate your plugin's configuration file (usually in the server's plugins folder). Open it in a text editor to view the current stack rules.

Define Item-Specific Limits

Find or create the section where individual items are listed. For each item you want to customize, specify its maximum stack size. For example, you might set potions to stack higher than their default limit, or allow weapons to stack when they normally wouldn't.

Make sure you use the correct item identifier that your server recognizes.

Apply Global Rules with Exceptions

If you want most items to follow one stack limit but need certain items to stay at their vanilla limit, use the global rule setting and add those items to an ignore list. This keeps your configuration simple while giving you fine control where it matters.

Reload and Test

Save your changes, then run /stacks reload in-game to apply the new limits. Pick up items to verify they now stack according to your rules. If something doesn't work, double-check your item names and syntax in the config file.
