Quickly Equip and Swap Armor Without Opening Your Inventory

Using Armor Swap

The Armor Swap feature lets you equip or swap armor pieces directly from your hotbar or main inventory without opening your inventory screen.

To equip armor:

1. Hold an armor piece (helmet, chestplate, leggings, or boots) in your hand

2. Right-click while holding it

3. The armor automatically equips to the correct slot

4. If you're already wearing armor in that slot, it swaps—the old piece goes to your cursor

To swap with worn armor:

1. Right-click any piece of armor you're currently wearing

2. It swaps with whatever you're holding

3. Useful for quickly switching between protection sets during combat

Configuring What Can Be Swapped

By default, only standard armor pieces swap. However, the mod can be configured to also swap non-armor wearables like mob heads. Check your mod configuration file to enable or disable this behavior.

You can also blacklist specific items to prevent them from being swapped—useful if you want to protect special or unique armor pieces from accidental swaps during hectic moments.
